Terms and Conditions:

Please be aware that by making a booking with The Lea Hurst Guest House you are entering into a contract agreement.

All prices quoted are per person.

The management reserve the right to amend prices as quoted.

A  non refundable deposit of £20 per person is required to secure a room.

Cancellation and Insurance:

If a deposit has been made and suitable notice to cancel ( minimum 14 days before your arrival date ) is not received or the booking is not taken or a no show occurs then full payment will become liable.

Once we receive your deposit we confirm by post and we enclose an insurance document for you to consider taking in case you have to cancel your holiday.

Non availability of accommodation:

We would only cancel your booking if your room was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would however attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, if this was not possible or unacceptable to you then we would refund all monies paid by you for your holiday.

Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Smoking:

We are a non smoking guest house and we enforce this rule, if you are found smoking in this property you will be asked to leave immediately and no refund will be offered.

Damages and Breakages:

It is the customers responsibility to maintain the standard of the room(s) they occupy at The Lea Hurst whilst resident. We accept accidents happen and appreciate the co-operation of residents in notifying us of problems so we can rectify them as soon as possible. Small breakages and accidents occurring in this manner will not normally be charged. When we find damage to our property after a visit where we have not been notified and the damage is expensive and or recklessly caused we will pursue payment from the resident / occupier or whoever made the booking.

Liability:

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or possessions unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves.

Please do not invite friends to your room who are not registered at The Lea Hurst Guest House

We do not accommodate stag / hen parties and we do not take pets.

Arrival:

Your accommodation will be available from 2pm on arrival date unless otherwise arranged. Please ensure you contact us no later than 12pm to let us know if you will be arriving late.

Departure:

Please vacate your room by 10:00am on day of departure and return all keys.

Lost keys:  We charge a minimum of £25 to cover the cost of replacing all front door keys to the guest house.
